Neurotoxins also popularity referred to as Botox Cosmetic® is a non-invasive injection treatment made out of a purified protein that blocks nerve signals in certain muscles causing them to relax. This relaxation of the muscle softens their activity but is still able to contract so that you can still express emotions in the face while smiling or frowning.
Our facial muscles are constantly contracting, creating both deep and superficial wrinkles. Neurotoxins prevent and decrease wrinkles from developing or worsening while still being able to showing expression in the face and creating a refreshed and youthful appearance.
Treatment time can be between 15-30 minutes based on the amount of units injected, results start from the time of treatment and take up to 14 days to take full effect. Post- care instructions are provided to you at your appointment to help achieve your results. Botox treatment results last up to 3-4 months.
Masseter Muscle Reduction: Our masseter muscles is one of the strongest muscles on our face, many clients receive injections to minimize the size of this muscle causing a more slimmed appearance in the jaw. This can also be used for treatment of lockjaw and teeth grinding. Treatment results can last up to 8 months.
Migraines: This treatment is individualized for each client to find “trigger points“ where the headache pain originated. Botox® is injected into the muscles of the forehead, temples and other muscle groups. It may take several weeks to see results, but many clients find they can discontinue treatments without their migraines coming back, while others may need continuous treatment.
Hyperhidrosis: Excessive sweating can be treated with botox® injections, cause sweat glands to relax. Treatment results can last up to 6 months, some clients find that even after 6 months they do not experience the same amount of sweating as they did before treatment. This procedure is covered by many insurance providers.
