What are fat dissolvers?
Belkyra®, also known as Kybella in the United States is a Health Canada-Approved deoxycholic acid a naturally-occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
The result?
Belkyra is injected to reduce and potentially erase the excess fat under the chin known as a double chin. Optimal results are achieved with two to three sessions to reduce the fat layer under the chin which gives a redefined jawline and a slim chin.
What can you expect?
Treatment time can be between 15-20 minutes, for most clients downtime is minimal and most commonly after the first treatment session. These can include swelling, bruising, numbness, itching and redness at the treatment area.
